Our #WeThinkActive 50 minute interactive workshop aims to get people to start thinking about how they can be more active and how they can encourage their service users to be more active. The workshop covers:
- Chief Medical Officer guidelines
- Definition of physical activity intensities
- Discussion around benefits and barriers to being physical active

Safeguarding & Protecting Children (Online Classroom)
Learning type – This interactive online classroom, delivered via Webex, will help coaches recognise poor practice and the red flags of abuse, while also prompting a review of your coaching practice to ensure that you provide a positive and enriching experience for all children.
This Online Classroom will raise your awareness of the tell-tale signs of abuse, and give you the tools and confidence you need to deal with any issues sensitively, appropriately and effectively should the need ever arise in your coaching career.
FA Safeguarding Children Workshop

Awarded by The FA, this short 3 hour course provides club representatives, coaches, referees and volunteers with an awareness of best practice in safeguarding children in football. The course supports The FA’s strategic goal to raise standards across the game.
The FA Safeguarding Children Workshop is designed for anyone that works with young people. Focused on making football safe, the course will help you learn how to recognise signs and symptoms of abuse, while understand fears involved in these concerns.

At Think Active we recognise the positive impact that sport & physical activity can have on peoples lives. We also recognise that the environments that deliverers and providers create can be influential. This ‘Introduction to Adverse Childhood Experiences‘ course is online and free. It is for practitioners, professionals and volunteers who work with children, young people and their families.
Cost – Free. This course has been commissioned by the West Midlands Police & Crime Commissioner & funded by the Home Office Early Intervention Fund.
